Philippa Gimlette is a highly experienced art director, photographic shoot producer and location finder who has worked with some of the world’s leading photographers.
Brand and concept development, strategy and marketing have been at the heart of Philippa’s twenty five year career. She’s passionate about sourcing locations, liaising with production companies across the world, creating inspirational and effective teams and harnessing photographic talent.

She started her career at Vogue as a fashion assistant on womenswear, and ultimately became the men’s fashion editor. She was involved in the earliest days of the innovative mail order business for Next – the Next Directory, working on production, styling and art direction across the whole product range. At Laura Ashley she was senior fashion art director for the worldwide brand. Most recently she has been design manager and art director at The White Company, focusing on interiors as well as fashion.
Recently, Philippa has been involved in renovating properties and helping others with their house relocation projects.
She is an intrepid traveller and a talented photographer. She studied The History of Art and the History of Architecture at Cambridge University.
